Please use caution if traveling on **West Riverside Avenue, west of South State Street**, as the City Water and Streets Department are working on a water main in the area.

Expect workers and equipment on or near the roadway. Please slow down, follow any posted traffic signs, and be alert for changing conditions.

**🚫 Don't Flush the Wipes! 🚫**

This is what happens when "flushable" wipes are flushed down the toilet.

📸 **Pictured is one of the City of Mondovi's lift station pumps** after wipes became tangled around the impeller. These wipes do **not** break down like toilet paper and can clog pumps, damage equipment, and lead to costly repairs.

Those repair costs are ultimately paid by our utility customers.

**Please help protect our wastewater system by only flushing the 3 P's:**

* ✅ P*e
* ✅ P**p
* ✅ Toilet Paper

❌ **Do NOT flush:**

* "Flushable" wipes
* Baby wipes
* Cleaning wipes
* Paper towels
* Feminine hygiene products
* Cotton swabs
* Dental floss
* Grease or fats

A small change in what goes down the drain can make a big difference for our community.
