We are grateful to Ken and Kathi Britske for donating a pallet jack to Lake Christian Ministries. Ken is a volunteer at Lake Christian Ministries and sees first hand how difficult it is to unload by hand large pallets of food for LCM's food pantry. During 2025, LCM fulfilled over 15,000 food requests. The volume of food that is purchased and unloaded in our food warehouse has grown dramatically. This new pallet jack will help our volunteers move food from the trucks to food storage much more efficiently and prevent our volunteers from having to lift heavy loads. Thank you Ken and Kathi for your generous donation to our food assistance program!

As we start a new year, we want to thank our generous supporters and volunteers and wish you a Happy 2026. With your 2025 support, Lake Christian Ministries worked to stabilize families in crisis and provide nourishment, shelter, and warmth. This past year a growing number of families came to Lake Christian Ministries for food, financial aid, and New Tomorrows Program services. Here are just a few notable statistics from 2025:

▪ LCM fulfilled 15,226 food assistance requests which provided 267,880 meals for food insecure families. This represents a 12% increase over 2024.

▪LCM assisted 1,426 individuals in 487 households with $200,500 of financial aid paid to service providers for housing, utilities, oral health, and medical support.

▪ LCM provided warm clothes and gifts to 808 children in need through A Child’s Christmas. This is a 4% increase in the number of children served in 2024.

▪ LCM assisted 342 families with New Tomorrows Program services. Our staff and volunteers connected our neighbors to career training, employment, physical and behavioral healthcare referrals, affordable housing, domestic violence resources, substance abuse treatment referrals, transportation, and childcare – an increase of 6% over 2024 and 32% over 2023.

In 2026 our services will be needed more than ever before. It is a blessing to know that we can count on our wonderful SML supporters to help us meet the challenges ahead.

We wish you a Healthy and Joyful 2026!
