The cottage has undergone a co
mplete renovation featuring new flooring, new cabinets, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, custom tiled shower, central air/heat, and new lighting. The cottage also has a washer/dryer and trash pickup service that is included as part of the rent. Enjoy cooking out on the outdoor grill (propane included), while your friends or family swim off of one of two private docks. Electric outlets are available at the dock. Feel free to bring your boat or jetski as well. You can tie up to a total of 4 boats. Our location allows close access to local marinas and the main channel. The cottage is only 5-10 minutes to getting gas, grocery store, restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. The marinas offer a variety of boat rentals to suit your personal needs along with boat launching ramps. Boat over to Bridgewater Plaza in less than 10 minutes for lunch, dinner, or dessert and entertainment. The cottage is only a 5 minute drive to Diamond Hill General Store to grab gas, food, or wine/beer. The cottage is only a 10 minute drive to Food Lion which is the closest and only grocery store on the Bedford county side of the lake. Drive 10 minutes to go over the bridge connecting Franklin County and visit Westlake Center for restaurants, shopping, and the movie theater. Relax in the evenings in front of the electric fireplace while channel surfing the flatscreen cable TV, watching your favorite movie, or playing a fun video game on the Playstation 2 or Xbox. Or relax on the deck in the evenings surrounded by 360 soffit lighting under the eaves.
