Exciting upgrades are happening at Burl Fowler Stadium! One of our new scoreboards is already in place, and the larger scoreboard is still to come. We’re excited to give our community a closer look at how this project came together, what’s been completed, and what’s ahead.

Our goal is to have the larger scoreboard installed by Homecoming. Several parts of the project depend on factors outside the district’s control, so that timeline may shift.

A project like this would not be possible without the support of those who invested in Monett Schools and our students. We are especially grateful to our sponsors:

Cox Health
Architectural Systems Inc.
Arvest Bank
Schreiber Foods
Vaughn Companies, Inc.
Mercy Hospital
Freedom Bank of Southern Missouri
Jack Henry
Lance Mettlach - Missouri Farm Bureau
Young’s & Associates

Thank you to each of our sponsors, donors, staff members, and everyone who played a part in bringing this project to life.

To the Monett community, thank you for continuing to show up for our schools, our programs, and most importantly, our students.

Your support makes opportunities like this possible, and we are incredibly grateful to be part of a community that continues to invest in our Cubs!

National Read a Book Day falls on Sunday, September 6 this year.

Reading opens doors to new ideas, builds knowledge, strengthens imagination, and helps our students grow as learners.

This weekend, we invite our entire Monett community, including students, families, staff, and community members, to pick up a book and spend a little time reading. Whether it’s a favorite story, a brand-new adventure, or a few chapters of a book you’ve been meaning to start, every page counts!

Let’s keep growing a love of reading throughout Monett! 📖✨💜💛🐻
