🔥 IT’S NOT GETTING ANY BETTER, FOLKS! 🔥

Monett Professional Firefighters Local 2001 wants to remind everyone that the heat is hanging on, everything is DRY, and fire conditions are definitely not our friend right now.

Please stay cool, stay hydrated, and for goodness’ sake… DON’T BURN! 😬🔥

That little brush pile you’ve been meaning to burn will still be there after we get some rain. Right now, conditions are perfect for a “small, controlled burn” to turn into a 100-acre brush fire before you know it.

Trust us—we’d much rather spend the afternoon in the air conditioning than chasing fire across a field. 😂🚒

🔥 Leave the matches alone
🔥 Hold off on burning brush or trash
🔥 Avoid brush hogging or anything that could create sparks in dry vegetation
💧 Stay hydrated and take plenty of breaks
👀 If you see smoke or fire, report it quickly

Help us out, Monett! Use a little extra caution and help keep our community and our firefighters safe.

🌧️ Rain is coming soon… hopefully. 🤞
