Monett Professional Firefighters Local 2001 The Monett Fire Department has been serving the citizens of Monett since 1906, whereby our mission is to protect them from loss of life and property.

The Monett Fire Department has been serving the citizens of the City of Monett, Missouri since 1906. The Monett Fire Department is a combination department the consist of 16 fulltime employees and 9 volunteers that provides its services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The department has been classified as an ISO 4 fire department. The Monett Fire Department will respond to all fires, technical re

scues, hazardous materials incidents, and emergency medical calls within the city limits of Monett, along with responding to automatic aid and mutual aid calls to assist surrounding fire departments. The Monett Fire Department operates out of two stations within the city limits. Station #1 is located in the historic downtown area at 211 5th St. and Station #2 is located in the industrial area at 904 County Rd.

๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿš’ Training Never Stops ๐Ÿš’๐ŸŒŠ

Today, tomorrow, and Wednesday, Monett Professional Firefighters Local 2001 members are continuing their commitment to excellence by attending Swift Water Rescue training in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.

Representing Local 2001 are Firefighter Ogle from A Shift and Firefighter Taylor Whittington from B Shift. This specialized training provides valuable hands-on experience and skills needed to safely respond to water rescue emergencies and protect our community when seconds matter most.

We are proud of their dedication to professional development and their commitment to bringing enhanced rescue capabilities back to the City of Monett.
