πππ ππππππ! β¨π Two towns. Two parades. One BIG day of Christmas celebration!
The Monette Beautification Committee and Leachville Beautification Commission are joining forces to make Saturday, December 12th a Christmas celebration to remember β βChristmas on Buffalo Island!β
Members of both organizations recently met in historic downtown Leachville for an exclusive look β and taste! β of the soon-to-open Priceβs Bakehouse while sharing ideas, strategies, and plenty of Christmas spirit. The goal? To show what can happen when neighboring communities work together and create an afternoon and evening packed with holiday fun!

The festivities will begin in Monette - line up for the Monette parade will start at 1:30 with the parade kicking off sharply at 3:00 PM in Downtown Monette! There will be live commentators and it will be streamed LIVE on Facebook thanks to the BIC EAST program!
Then, make the short drive over to Leachville to finish up the evening! Line up for the Leachville Christmas Parade will start at 4:30 at BIC East campus and the parade will kick off at 6:00 PM and will head north to historic Downtown Leachville!

And this year, thereβs an extra BIG reason to participate in BOTH! π Price Contracting Solutions is sponsoring a $1,000 GRAND PRIZE for the overall βBest of Show!β β To qualify for the $1,000 prize, your float or entry must participate in BOTH the Monette and Leachville Christmas Parades. Following the parades that evening, representatives from both beautification organizations will join together to select the Christmas on Buffalo Island Best of Show!
Weβre encouraging churches, businesses, civic organizations, schools, families, clubs and community groups from all across Buffalo Island and beyond to decorate those floats, string up the lights and join us for BOTH parades!
