Monmouth FOP Lodge #265, Officers Union FOP local #265 is a law enforcement union of Officers for the Monmouth Illinois Police Department.

Thanks to all that came out and participated in the 2026 annual Cops and Bobbers fishing derby held at Citizens Lake. Weather was great, fish were biting, and lots of prizes were won.
Special thanks to the West Central Illinois Bass Masters for raffling off some bicycles and assisting in raising funds to purchase fish.
Thanks to Matt Jones and company for supplying hot dogs and chips.

The Fraternal Order of Police lodge 265 would like to congratulate Deputy Chief Joe Bratcher on his retirement from the Monmouth Police Department. DC Bratcher retired with 28 years of dedicated service with the department. He left a legacy and will deeply be missed!

Another fantastic year of Cops and Kids with the Monmouth Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 265. Thanks for the help from the Warren County Sheriff’s Department along with Warren County Animal Control. All the volunteers make this program so much easier. This event wouldn’t be possible without the generous donations from our community!

Special thanks to Pizza Hut for donating all the pizzas 🍕. Thanks to Circle K for donating the cookies 🍪 and hot cocoa. Thanks to Warren County Transportation for the use of the bus 🚌. Thanks to People’s Do It Center to the use of tables and chairs 🪑. Finally thanks to Wal-Mart for taking care of us and making it a wonderful shopping experience! Santa 🧑‍🎄 just happen to stop by also!

Our annual “Power for Seniors” was a success today. The fraternal order of police police lodge 265 along with Strom Center were able to help roughly 171 people with a meal and some got some special prizes! It’s always rewarding helping our senior citizens!

Greetings from the Monmouth Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 265. Our annual fundraising letter will be hitting mailboxes starting tomorrow. I have attached a copy that many will see. Our fundraising efforts cover three main events, including Power for Seniors (assisting senior citizens with utility bills and a meal), Cops and Kids at Christmas (Shop with a Cop), and Cops and Bobbers (fishing derby).

You can donate by either receiving a letter and mailing it back or by bringing it by the police department. If you don’t receive a letter and want to donate, feel free to drop it off at the police department (500 South Main) or call 309-734-8383, and a friendly officer will be more than happy to come grab it and stay for a short visit.

These events wouldn’t be what they are without the help from the generous donations we receive from our community.
