UHS Girls Summer Basketball Camp Registration

Sign up your child (by June 19th to guarantee a t-shirt) to join the UHS girls basketball players and staff for our annual youth summer camp! July 7, 8, 9 - 12:30-2:00 each day at United High School. You may bring payment to the first day of camp or mail it to Coach Olson at 200 Sims St, Alexis, IL, 61412. Please make checks payable to United High School Girls Basketball.

Congratulations to the following students who were chosen as Students of the Month for April/May 2026 - UHS: Ava, Ariana, Riley, and Michel; and UJH: Izzy and Jonah. All students chosen represent one or more of our “Core Values.” UHS’ Core Values are Empathy, Pride, Integrity, Commitment, and Family. This is a reminder that 8th grade promotion will take place tomorrow, May 27th, at 6:00pm, in the Junior High Gymnasium. 8th graders will have practice tomorrow afternoon at 2:00pm, to prepare for the ceremony. 8th graders that are participating in this event are asked to meet in the Junior High Cafeteria no later than 5:40pm. The doors of the main JH Entrance will open at 5:00pm.

*Carter Hare, Mason Jenks, Tito Orozco, Camden Brentise - 2nd in the 4x200 (1:38.61) and 3rd in the 4x400 (3:49.00)
*Mason Jenks - 14th in Discus (126' 8")
*Owen Postin - 30th in Discus (113' 9") and 12th in Shot Put (41' 5")
*Layla Grant - 12th in Shot Put (26' .2")
*Tito Orozco - 10th in 100m Prelims (12.32) and 13th in 200 (25.69)
*Grace Dillbeck - 11th in 200 (27.60)
*Carter Hare - 19th in 200 (24.90)
*8th Grade Boys Team placed 5th overall.
