We are proud to recognize two recent cardiac arrest resuscitations that highlight the dedication, skill, and teamwork of our providers and our valued public safety partners.
On February 9, 2026, our crews responded to a cardiac arrest in Liberty Borough. Working in coordination with Volunteer Fireman's Association of Liberty Borough and Liberty Borough Police Department, Paramedic Beach, AEMT Franklin, and Lieutenant Bober provided rapid, advanced life-saving care on scene. The patient was transported to a local medical facility for continued treatment and has since been discharged home, where they continue their recovery.
On October 18, 2025, our crews responded to a cardiac arrest in Forward Township. This incident was managed with our partnering service, Tri- Community Ambulance, along with Elizabeth Boro V.F.C. and the Elizabeth Township Police Department. Lieutenant Bober, EMT Snyder, EMT Taylor, and EMT Beresh worked seamlessly alongside our mutual aid partners to provide aggressive resuscitative care. The patient was flown from the scene to a Pittsburgh-area hospital and was ultimately discharged home, where they continue their recovery.
Cardiac arrest survival is never the result of one individual or one agency. It is the product of training, preparation, rapid response, and true interagency teamwork. We are incredibly proud of our crews and deeply grateful for our mutual aid partnerships. Without the coordination, communication, and collective commitment of our fire, police, EMS, and hospital partners, outcomes like these would not be possible.
Most importantly, we wish both of our patients a continued healthy recovery and all the best in the days ahead.
Together, we serve. Together, we make a difference.
