Your peer counselor will check in before you return to work and during your first week back to help make sure you feel prepared, things are going smoothly and support you with any adjustments if needed.

Do you ever wish you could talk to another parent who knows what you're going through? WIC peer counselors are parents with personal breastfeeding experience and have training in lactation and breastfeeding support. They have been there and can provide help and advice.

Over text, phone, or in person, WIC can connect you with free one-to-one support from trained lactation experts and breastfeeding peer counselors.
