An arrest warrant has been for one count of Second Degree Murder, Illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities, and Possession of a firearm or carrying of a concealed weapon by a person convicted of domestic abuse battery for Noah Bradford.

The Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office is asking for your help in locating Morgan Elise Williams.

Morgan Elise Williams, 13 years old, ran away from her residence May 28th at approximately 8:30pm. She was last seen wearing a black hooded shirt, black shorts, and a black wave cap. Williams could possibly be around the Presidential Estates area.

UPDATE: From previous post on 5-28-2026 regarding burglaries.

MPD Detectives and the HEAT Team worked together during the overnight hours of May 28, 2026, and the early morning hours of May 29, 2026, to locate and arrest two suspects responsible for the aforementioned burglaries.

A traffic stop conducted by the MPD HEAT Team led to the arrest of nineteen-year-old Antonio Porter. At the time of the traffic stop, Porter was in possession of a firearm taken during one of the previous burglaries. Ultimately, Porter confessed to eleven burglaries in the Park Ave., Emerson St., and Speed St. areas.
Antonio Porter was arrested for eleven counts of Vehicle Burglary, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, and three counts of Theft of a Motor Vehicle.

Additionally, MPD Detectives were able to identify and arrest a second suspect involved in the burglaries. The second suspect was a sixteen-year-old juvenile. A search warrant executed at the juvenile’s residence led to the recovery of two stolen fi****ms, which had also been taken during the previously mentioned burglaries.

The juvenile was booked into Green Oaks Detention Center on eleven counts of Vehicle Burglary, two counts of Possession of a Stolen Firearm, four counts of Felony Damage to Property, and Illegal Use of a Weapon.

The Monroe Police Department is actively investigating a series of vehicle burglaries that occurred on the north side of Monroe during the overnight hours of May 27, 2026, into the early morning hours of May 28, 2026.

The reported incidents occurred in the following areas:
• 1000 block of Milton Street
• 1000 block of Emerson Street
• 800 block of Park Avenue
• 1000 block of Park Avenue
• 1100 block of Speed Avenue

MPD investigators are conducting a thorough investigation to identify and apprehend the individual(s) responsible.

Residents in the affected areas are encouraged to review any available security camera footage from overnight and early morning hours for suspicious activity. Anyone with video footage or information that may assist investigators is urged to contact the Monroe Police Department at (318) 329-2600.

The department also reminds the public that anonymous tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers of North Delta by calling (318) 388-2274 (CASH). Crime Stoppers is offering up to $2,000 in cash rewards for tips that lead to the arrest or grand jury indictment of those responsible for these crimes.

Last weekend, MPD officers hosted the I.C.A.N. Girls Empowerment Program at the Public Safety Center, an event dedicated to supporting and encouraging young ladies in our community. The program is designed to help girls achieve their goals and become successful, positive members of the community.
