Crafting, Cookies & Creativity! 🎨🍪

This week, our talented crafters had a wonderful time creating adorable Father’s Day crafts, filling the room with creativity, laughter, and plenty of artistic inspiration. To make the session even sweeter, everyone enjoyed delicious Key Lime Pie cookies generously donated by Aunt Bee herself from Aunt Bees Bakery. The tasty treats were the perfect fuel for an afternoon of crafting and fun!

A heartfelt thank you to Aunt Bee for her continued generosity and support of our crafting community. We can’t wait to gather again on the 23rd, when our crafters will be picking up their paintbrushes for another exciting and colorful project. Stay tuned for more creative adventures! 🎨💙✨

Join us for yoga at 10 AM on Mondays!

A wonderful morning of Chair Yoga, movement, breath, and community. 💙

Our adaptive class focused on balance, mobility, flexibility, and mindful movement, with options to support different abilities and needs. The goal is simple: move, breathe, and feel good in your body.

One participant shared that the balance and mobility exercises helped her ankles and feet feel better after class—a wonderful reminder of how meaningful these small movements can be.

Our seniors wrapped up an incredible season of our fitness class at the Monroe Community Senior Center, and we couldn’t be prouder of everyone's hard work, dedication, and energy!

To celebrate their amazing accomplishments, we held a special end-of-season gathering filled with well-deserved awards, plenty of smiles, and a special four-legged guest who stole the show. Of course, no celebration is complete without some delicious treats, so everyone enjoyed a fantastic spread of fresh fruit, sandwiches, sweets, and refreshments to toast to a healthy season.

A huge thank you to our wonderful instructor Loretta Splan and everyone who came out to stay active, healthy, and connected. Here’s to keeping the momentum going—congratulations to all of our fitness award winners! 🥂🍇🏅

We are getting ready for our Christmas in July event! Seeking gently used Christmas items!

🎅☀️ CRAVING SOME WINTER MAGIC IN THE MIDDLE OF SUMMER? ☀️🎅

The Fabulous Finds Thrift Shoppe is bringing the holiday cheer early with our Christmas in July event, and we need YOUR help to make it merry and bright!

We are officially accepting donations of all things holiday! Before you pack away those decorations or clear out your closets, consider giving them a second life with us. We are looking for:

🎄 Gently used Christmas decor and ornaments
🎁 Unused gift items and stocking stuffers
⛄ Holiday clothing, sweaters, and linens
🎨 Festive crafts and vintage holiday treasures

Best of all? 100% of the proceeds go directly to supporting our local Senior Center! Your donations stay right here in the community, helping our seniors stay active, connected, and supported.

Ready to put your strategy to the test? Join us for an afternoon of tiles, tactics, and fun at our upcoming Mahjongg Event! Whether you're a seasoned pro or a skilled enthusiast, this is the perfect chance to clear your schedule and connect with the community.

We’ll be playing with American Mahjongg League modified rules, so make sure to bring your card along!
