Today, we say goodbye to someone who has made an incredible impact on our Unionville family.
While our hearts are sad to see Mrs. Sophie Flynn leave Unionville Elementary, we are also filled with excitement as she begins her next chapter as the new principal of Poplin Elementary!
Mrs. Flynn has been so much more than an assistant principal. She has been a trusted leader, a supportive colleague, a champion for students, and a friend to so many. Her dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment to doing what is best for children have made our school a better place every single day.
The impact she has had on our students, staff, and families will be felt for years to come. We are all better because of her leadership, encouragement, and the genuine care she shows to everyone she meets.
Poplin Elementary is gaining an exceptional leader, and we have no doubt that Mrs. Flynn will continue to inspire, lead, and make a difference in the lives of countless students and educators.
Thank you, Mrs. Flynn, for everything you have done for Unionville. We will miss you tremendously, but we are so proud of you and excited to watch you shine in your new role.
