🦖 The dinosaurs are taking over! I repeat… the dinosaurs are taking over! 🦖

After spending the spring in hibernation, our prehistoric friends are back and ready for new adventures with some lucky children.

We had 32 dinosaurs hanging out at the library today, and 6 have already been adopted! That means there are still plenty of dinos looking for a forever home.

Stop by during regular library hours, choose your favorite dinosaur, and take home a prehistoric pal before they all disappear into the Jurassic

What a morning! 🍿🧪

Popcorn was made, experiments were conducted, and science was everywhere! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the Science Heroes show this morning. It was a blast, and we loved seeing all the excitement, curiosity, and smiling faces from our young scientists.

We are so grateful for the wonderful families and community members who continue to support our library and summer reading program. Events like these remind us just how lucky we are to be part of such a great small town community. ❤️

Don’t forget Science Heroes will be back today at 4:00 PM for our Teen Lab, designed for kids ages 9½ and up. If you missed the morning show, we’d love to see you this afternoon for even more hands on fun! 🔬

Saturday at the library 10am Dino Scene and 9-11 Tot Town

🦖🔬 Reminder! Our “Digging It” Science Heroes show is coming up Tuesday June 16th at 10:00 AM for the whole family!

Join us for an unforgettable interactive science adventure presented by the Science Heroes team. This exciting program combines science, storytelling, and hands-on fun that kids won’t want to miss!

We’ll also be hosting a second session at 4:00 PM for older kids ages 9½ and up. This special Teen Lab workshop gives participants the chance to get hands-on with some of the coolest experiments and activities from the show.

Space is limited for the 4:00 PM Teen Lab, but we still have spots available! Call or stop by the library to reserve your spot !

More summer fun is coming!!

Join us for our Dinosaur Themed Summer Storytimes and Crafts as we continue to “Unearth a Story” this summer!

📚 June 24 at 10:00 AM – Storytime followed by digging for fossils

🎨 July 22 at 10:00 AM – Storytime and making a dinosaur out of pasta

🎉 August 12 at 10:00 AM – Storytime followed by our end of Summer Reading Rewards Party

These programs are free and a great way for kids to explore, create, and enjoy reading all summer long. We can’t wait to see our little paleontologists at the library!

Story Time with Mrs. V today was the perfect midday break from the busyness of summer. Taking time to sit, listen, and enjoy an adventure through a book is one of the greatest gifts of all. 📚❤️

Thank you to everyone who joined us! Mrs. Verheul will be back next Wednesday from 1:00–3:00 PM, and then will continue every Wednesday throughout July. We hope to see you there! All ages welcome!
