Help support the Friends of the Monroe Iowa Public Library fundraising efforts at the library by giving one of these beautiful plants a new home! 🪴💚

We have a variety of houseplants, geraniums, and plectranthus available. Perfect for brightening up your home, office, or gifting to a fellow plant lover!

Our second program for Summer Reading on the calendar is Create Your Own Dinosaur T-Shirt! 🦖🎨

Join us on June 10th at 10 AM and bring your own t-shirt to the library! Participants will get to pick from a variety of fun dinosaur iron-on designs, and library staff will help transfer the design directly onto your shirt.

This is a super fun activity for all of our creative readers and dinosaur fans out there!

Please call or stop into the library to register beforehand, as spots may be limited. We can’t wait to see everyone’s creations!

Another fun and exciting update for Summer Reading that we just can’t wait to share… ☀️🐴

Save the date and come meet Scooter on July 8 at 10 AM in our very own backyard! We have so many amazing programs, activities, and surprises planned for this summer, and we can’t wait to enjoy them with our community.
