Another successful fundraiser for the Friends of the Monroe Iowa Public Library building community campaign for the 4-season solarium expansion! 💙

We are so incredibly grateful for the support from our amazing community and are especially excited to share that Blue Hen Bakery is our first business donation toward this project!

We couldn’t have thought of a better fundraiser or a better way to show what community support looks like than having Rachel and her bakery put together such a wonderful weekend for the library. The treats were amazing, but the generosity and support behind them meant even more.

Thank you, Rachel, for believing in this project and for giving so generously to help make it possible. And thank you to everyone who stopped by, made a purchase, shared our posts, or supported the fundraiser in any way.

Every bit of support brings us one step closer to bringing this incredible 4-season expansion to the Monroe Public Library and creating an even more welcoming space for everyone in our community.

Day two! 💙🥐

Blue Hen Bakery is open this morning and ready with all the yummy treats! And a big thank you to everyone who came out yesterday to grab some goodies and support the library. It was so sweet seeing our community show up for something that will benefit so many.

If you missed out yesterday, there’s still another chance to grab a treat today! 30% of this weekend’s proceeds are going toward the Monroe Public Library’s 4-season solarium expansion. 📚🌿

Starting tomorrow 8//29 at 7 AM and throughout the weekend, 30% of the proceeds from their stand will go toward our 4-season solarium expansion, which will create a beautiful new community space at the library!

💙 Fundraiser Update postponed for this weekend

Blue Hen Bakery fundraiser scheduled for this weekend has been postponed to August 29 & 30 due to a possible illness in the baker’s home.

We truly appreciate your continued support, understanding, and patience. We hope everyone in their family feels better soon, and we look forward to coming together for this fundraiser later this month! 💙📚

Weekend Fundraiser Update

Unfortunately, due to a possible illness in our household, I’ve made the difficult decision to postpone this weekend’s fundraiser for the Monroe Public Library. Since I make everything from my home, I want to make absolutely sure that I’m putting the health and safety of everyone in our community first.

The good news is that we are not canceling the fundraiser—we are just postponing it to next weekend, August 29th & 30th! ❤️

I’m so sorry for the last-minute change, and I truly appreciate everyone’s understanding! We were so excited to be able to support our local library, and we can’t wait to do so in a couple of weeks. 30% of all proceeds from the bakery stand and my personal orders will still be donated to the library to help with their fundraising goal of expanding the building.
