The mission of the City of Monroe Parks and Recreation Dept is to enhance the lives of its citizens and visitors by encouraging a healthy lifestyle and offering safe and quality parks and recreation experiences that highlight our area's natural and cultural resources. UPDATE: Painting will be rescheduled due to the recent storms. We will post once we have a new date.
The Munson Park skate park will be closed on September 4 while we complete painting and allow surfaces to dry.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY – WEST ELM AVENUE CLOSURE

The Monroe Public Safety Department is advising motorists of the following road closure for tonight’s Summer Concert Series at St. Mary’s Park:

Date: Wednesday, August 26
Time: 5:45 p.m. to approximately 9:00 p.m.
Road Closure: West Elm Avenue
Closed Between: Borgess Avenue and North Monroe Street
Reason: Summer Concert Series at St. Mary’s Park

For the safety of concertgoers, pedestrians, and motorists, West Elm Avenue will be closed to vehicle traffic during the event. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, use alternate routes, exercise caution, and watch for increased pedestrian traffic in the area.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation, and we hope everyone enjoys the concert!
