Green County Human Services Receives Grant
Green County Human Services announces that it has received a grant from the Monroe Funds Spring 2025 Grant Cycle of the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin, Inc to support their project entitled Respite Care Program.
The Respite Care Program is a program designed to support caregivers in an effort to help manage stress to reduce instances of abuse and neglect, provide placement stability to out-of-home care providers such as foster parents and kinship care providers, and assist in placement transitions, when necessary. This grant is made available from the Community Foundation’s CLAIR fund, Monroe Fund. The Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin is a resource for area nonprofit organizations whose programs and services are working for the betterment of our communities. Grants from the CLAIR fund, Monroe Fund have supported the arts, education, environment, health and human services and historic preservation.
