Ticks hide in tall grass, wooded areas, and brushy spots, and they can spread serious illnesses like Lyme disease and spotted fever. Before you head back inside, take 60 seconds to check yourself and your kids from head to toe.

- A quick tick check could make all the difference.
- Use EPA-approved repellent.
- Check for ticks after being outside.
- See a doctor quickly if you feel sick after a bite.
