🏈 GAME DAY IN THE VALLEY! 🏈

It’s time to pack the stands and bring the energy! To ensure a safe, fun, and seamless game day experience for everyone, please keep the following Union County Public Schools (UCPS) safety protocols in mind before you head out:

Clear Bag Policy: Only clear bags no larger than 4.5” x 6.5” are permitted. (Note: Medical and baby bags are allowed but subject to search).

Supervision Required: Middle and elementary school students must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 or older to enter.

Ticket Cut-off: All ticket sales end promptly at halftime (or the midpoint of the event).

Body Scanners: UCPS will be utilizing body scanners at entry points in consultation with local law enforcement.

Safety is our highest priority at Sun Valley High School. Today, our students and staff successfully completed our routine lockdown drill in partnership with local emergency responders. Thank you to our entire Spartan community for taking these practice exercises seriously to keep our campus secure!

What an incredible start to our school year! A massive thank you to our amazing community for bringing the energy to our WBTV Channel 3 Morning Show appearance and cheering on our Spartans under the Friday Night Lights.

As we head into the next week, keep these important reminders in mind to stay on track:
⏰ Monday, Aug 31: Tardy policies officially begin—please ensure students arrive on time.
🪪 Campus Safety: Students must bring and have their ID badges available every single day. Additionally, please do not use the student parking lot or the bus lot for drop-offs or pick-ups.

📅 Mark Your Calendars: Show your spirit for College Colors Day this Friday, Sept 4, and join us for Senior Night on Wednesday, Sept 9 at 6:00 PM in the Auditorium.

Ready to build confidence, discipline, and find your family on the mat? The Sun Valley High School Men’s & Women’s Wrestling Team wants YOU!
Whether you’re a seasoned wrestler or brand new to the sport, all skill levels are welcome. Come learn the sport, wrestle with heart, and represent Spartan Nation!
