🚧 RESURFACING PROJECT - CENTERHILL CHURCH ROAD 🚧

Resurfacing will begin on Centerhill Church Road between Hwy 81 and Rabbit Farm Road tentatively beginning Tuesday, June 2, 2026.
Please keep in mind that there will be traffic delays in this area.

What to expect:
🚗 Traffic Delays: Plan ahead and allow extra travel time.
🛑 Pilot Cars & Flaggers: Watch closely for crews directing traffic.👷‍♂️ Drive Carefully: Stay alert for your safety and the safety of our crews.

UPDATE: Both lanes are open

🚧 TRAFFIC ALERT – YOUTH MONROE ROAD 🚧

Youth Monroe Road will be reduced to one lane between Raymond's Landing and Highway 81 for a culvert replacement project beginning Tuesday, June 2, 2026.

🚗 Expect delays. Flagged traffic control will be in place. Please slow down and watch for workers in the construction zone.

Be sure to plan ahead, leave early, or use alternate routes to avoid delays. Thank you for your patience during this project!

Mowing Season is Underway! ⚠️🚜

Walton County Public Works mowing crews have officially begun their annual routine! Over the next few months, our teams will be working hard to clear the Right-of-Way (ROW) and maintain shoulders throughout the county. Regular mowing ensures clear sightlines at intersections and prevents overgrowth from encroaching on our roads.

Keeping the roadsides clear isn't just about looks—it’s about safety!! Please stay alert and watch for "Mowing Ahead" signs and flashing amber lights. Please be patient and slow down if you see a tractor or mower ahead. 🚜
