Established in 1935, it started as the Monroe Merchants Association and experienced several name changes before becoming the Union County Chamber of Commerce in 1993. er is a 501c6 nonprofit business association governed by a 24-member Board of Directors. It currently has a five-person staff, led by President/CEO Pat Kahle. The Chamber’s vision is that everyone who does business or lives in Union County enjoys a thriving local economy and excellent quality of life. The Union County Chamber’s focus is to:

The Union County Chamber champions business growth and prosperity through leadership, advocacy, connectivity, and education. The Chamber’s vision is to be the leader for business growth and prosperity for Union County.
