🥾 Michigan State Parks are home to some of the best hiking opportunities in the state from quiet forest paths and scenic shoreline trails to paved, accessible routes that everyone can enjoy.

One great option is the Marsh Loop Trail at Sterling State Park, a paved trail that winds through wetlands and offers excellent wildlife viewing. Looking for a longer adventure? The Marsh Loop connects to the Heritage Trail, which in turn links with the Monroe Loop, giving hikers and cyclists even more miles to explore while taking in the beauty of southeast Michigan.
