The last two days seven members of the Monroe Housing Team have been in Albany Ga learning from city and community leaders there, and from several other communities throughout the state, about how they are addressing the housing needs of their communities. We also had some productive work sessions with our team facilitator from the University of Georgia about what's needed in Monroe, and planning for some community events this year. Be on the lookout for upcoming events YOU can be a part of that will help improve our city. A date for the next community clean up day this spring will be announced soon.
We welcome and need your input AND participation!
