The Clerk's Office has extended its operational hours today to initiate the pre-accuracy testing of election equipment. This equipment is designated for utilization during early voting, scheduled from July 25th to August 2nd, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., and on Election Day, Tuesday, August 4th. Ensuring voter confidence is paramount, and the meticulous maintenance of our voting equipment remains a top priority for every election.

Dear Monroe Charter Township Voters,

Ballots for the August 4, 2026, State Primary Election were mailed today to those on the permanent ballot list.

Please remember that you may vote for one party only; you cannot "split your ticket." If you vote in more than one party section, your partisan ballot will be rejected.

If a mistake is made, you have the option of spoiling your ballot to receive a new one. The last day to spoil a ballot is Friday, July 24, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Any questions please contact the Clerk's Office at (734) 241-6574.

Important announcement: tennis court and pickle ball courts closure. Due to sport court application, these facilities will be inaccessible for the next few days.
