Dear Parents and Participants,

As we wrap up the Monroe Fire Department FORGED BY FIRE Youth Boot Camp, we want to sincerely thank you for being part of such a special two days.

Parents, you should be incredibly proud. Your children showed teamwork, courage, respect, and determination. They stepped outside their comfort zones, learned new skills, encouraged one another, and represented themselves and their families in a way that made us all proud.

Participants, we hope you are proud of yourselves, too. You worked hard, tried new things, faced challenges, and completed something truly memorable.

We also want you to know how much you impacted our staff. Your energy, jokes, laughter, questions, and excitement reminded us why we love serving this community. You made these two days fun, meaningful, and unforgettable for us. We didn’t just teach you — you inspired us.

Thank you for trusting us with this experience. We are proud of every participant who completed the 2026 Monroe Fire Department FORGED BY FIRE Youth Boot Camp, and we hope you carry these memories with you for a long time.

They were a pleasure to have, bright and respectful young men!

Congratulations to the Brodhead youth who participated in the Forged by Fire Youth Boot Camp in Monroe! Over two days, these young men worked hard and earned certifications in CPR and Stop the Bleed.

A big thank you to the Monroe firefighters for putting on this great event and investing in the next generation. We are proud of these young men and all they accomplished!

Monroe firefighters wrapped up a two-day youth boot camp on Thursday aimed at showing high school aged students what it takes to serve in EMS and the fire service.

Yesterday was Day 1 of our two day Youth Fire/EMS Boot Camp and it was AWESOME! The kids completed certification in CPR and STOP the Bleed, and learned about community EMS. Thank you Green County EMS for joining us and sharing your experiences.
