Recently, the CASA of Northeast Louisiana team had the opportunity to spend time in Tallulah supporting one of our newest CASA volunteers, Keona Isaac, and celebrating the incredible work she is doing through .

At CASA of Northeast Louisiana, we believe every child deserves a safe, stable, and hopeful future. Keona shares that same passion through Ischyros Generation, where she is dedicated to empowering and uplifting the next generation. While our organizations serve children in different ways, we are united by one powerful belief: our children deserve our very best efforts.

We are so grateful that Keona has chosen to become a CASA volunteer. Children in foster care need caring, consistent adults to stand beside them during one of the most difficult seasons of their lives, and volunteers like Keona make that possible.

The need is especially great in the Tallulah area. We are looking for more compassionate people who are willing to give just a few hours each month to advocate for a child in foster care. One caring adult can change the trajectory of a child's life.

Our next CASA volunteer training classes are beginning soon, and we'd love to help you learn more about becoming a voice for a child.

The biggest difference in a child's life isn't always made in the big moments;it's made in the small ones. ❤️

It's showing up.
It's listening.
It's remembering what matters to them.
It's being the one consistent adult who reminds them they're seen, heard, and valued.

That's what a CASA volunteer does.

You don't have to have all the answers. You don't have to know everything about the child welfare system. You simply have to be willing to help. We'll provide the training and you bring your heart.

Being a CASA is so much more than most people realize. It's standing beside a child during one of the hardest chapters of their life and helping them find hope for the future.
