Thank you, voters 💙

Snohomish County officially certified the special election today, and because of you, the renewal education levy has passed. Your continued investment is a promise to our local kids that their learning, opportunities and daily support matter.

While the construction bond results weren’t what we hoped for, we’re still incredibly grateful to everyone who took the time to participate. Civic engagement matters — and every ballot cast reflects care for our schools and the students they serve.

We appreciate you and we remain committed to working together for the future of our community’s children.

Levy results are holding steady, passing by a slim margin.

There are still 350+ ballots that haven’t been tabulated, but we are optimistic!

The next official county update will be Tuesday evening after the holiday weekend.

Every vote truly matters!

As of the most recent election update tonight, the renewal education levy (proposition 2) is now PASSING by 57 votes.

There are still roughly 800 ballots that haven’t been tabulated yet, that were dropped off or postmarked by the 8pm deadline on Election Day.

These results are still too close to call, but we are hopeful that the trends will continue in favor of the levy!

The next update is scheduled for February 13 at 4pm.

As of tonight’s update from Snohomish County, the difference between yes and no votes has shrunk. There are still nearly 2000 ballots returned that haven’t yet been counted, which means the levy results are still too close to call.

We remain optimistic that the levy may pass, though the results for the bond proposal are not what we hoped for.

We still want to extend a huge amount of gratitude to everyone in the community who showed up to vote in support of our students and their schools. Thank you!

The next update is expected tomorrow (Thursday) by 5pm.

Here are the current vote tallies for proposition 1 (construction bond) and proposition 2 (renewal levy).

With additional uncounted ballots still remaining, we can expect updated counts daily through the end of the week.

Reminder: prop 1 (the bond) requires 60%+1 vote for approval. Prop 2 (levy) needs 50%+1

🔔 TODAY IS ELECTION DAY, MONROE! 🔔

It’s time to make our voices heard! Ballots for the Monroe School District School Construction Bond and Renewal Education Levy must be postmarked or placed in a secure drop box by 8:00 PM tonight.

Our schools aren’t just buildings—they are the heart of our community. By voting YES, we are supporting:

✅ Proposition 1: School Construction Bond (Building for the Future)

Safety & Security: Critical upgrades to security systems at schools district-wide.

Modern Learning: A new home for Sky Valley Education Center (modernizing the Wagner Center) and renovations at Frank Wagner and Salem Woods Elementary.

Essential Repairs: Fixing roofs, HVAC systems, and maintaining our facilities to prevent more costly repairs later.

✅ Proposition 2: Renewal Education Levy (Funding the Essentials)

Not a New Tax: This replaces the expiring levy to keep funding stable.

Staffing: Supports the “gap” in state funding for nurses, counselors, and paraeducators.

Opportunities: Keeps athletics, music, clubs, and extracurriculars alive for our students.

📍 Where to vote? The most convenient spot in town is the Monroe Library Drop Box (1070 Village Way). No stamp is needed!
