Here are a few images from our recent ARFF training. We’d like to thank Monroe Regional Airport for supporting this valuable opportunity.

Tuesday’s ARFF Live Fire Training was a powerful example of interagency teamwork in action. MFD personnel participated in hands-on aircraft rescue and firefighting scenarios coordinated in partnership with Monroe Regional Airport

The training provided realistic, high-intensity conditions designed to sharpen response capabilities during aircraft emergencies. Crews practiced coordinated fire attack, rescue operations, incident command, and safety procedures in a controlled live-burn environment that simulates real-world aviation incidents.

This collaborative training strengthens operational readiness, enhances mutual aid coordination, and ensures our community is protected with the highest level of preparedness.
