We are a diverse group of citizens in Green County, Wisconsin working together to promote democratic values for a better future for our communities, state, and country. Other posts should not be construed as endorsement by the Party of any particular candidate in a primary. If you would like to leave a comment on our wall, please keep it civil. Debate is welcome, but inappropriate comments will be

deleted, and inappropriate commentators will be blocked. We have monthly meetings currently hosted on ZOOM at 7:00 PM on the 2nd Thursday the month. Most meetings include a guest speaker. Past speakers include political and non-political community leaders. The public is invited. If you'd like to get involved, we need people to:
-Write letters to the editor
-Enter data
-Help with messaging
-Fundraise
-Recruit new members
-Help with events
-Host events
-Canvass and do lit drops during election seasons
-Donate food and supplies
-Display yard signs
-Make large yard signs

Save this new Midterms timeline guide to keep these important deadlines at your fingertips. A few notes to keep in mind:

- Each municipality has its own hours of operation for voter registration and absentee ballot requests and submission processes, contact your local office for confirmation before making plans.

- We recommend in-person voting if possible (either early/absentee or on November 3) due to the ongoing question of how the USPS will manage the delivery of absentee ballots.

- For married women or anyone else whose name may not match between their birth certificate and current driver's license, collect your citizenship documentation or order your passport now. Just in case.

- As always, use the https://myvote.wi.gov site for more information.

Postal election scheme ruled illegal and unconstitutional.

🚨BREAKING: A federal District Court today issued a preliminary injunction blocking the US Postal Service from enforcing key parts of a rule that would have operationalized President Trump’s March 31 executive order restricting mail voting.

The court found that the rule was likely unconstitutional and unlawful — and that enforcing it would make voter disenfranchisement “practically inevitable.”
