Good evening,

I would like to provide an update regarding VIN inspections and officer availability at the police department. An officer will be available to conduct VIN inspections on Saturday, April 18, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and again on Saturday, April 25, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

If you are unable to attend on either of these dates, you may contact the Adams County Sheriff’s Department at 260-724-5345 and select option 1. Dispatch will relay your request to an officer, and we will follow up with you when one becomes available.

Thank you
Monroe Marshal

Good morning,

I understand this is short notice, but I am available today until approximately 3:00 PM. We are currently coordinating a few weekend dates to have officers available at the police department to conduct VIN inspections, so please stay tuned for those updates.

In the meantime, the best way to be added to the list is to contact the Adams County Sheriff’s Department at 260-724-5345 (select option 1 for administration). They will forward your information to us, and an officer will follow up with you the next time we are scheduled.

Thank you.
