We took a break from endorsements for fair week but absentee ballots are available in a little over a month and we want to make sure you are aware of ALL endorsements before then. So let’s get back to it!

The 4H animal auctions have quickly become our favorite part of the fair. These kids work so hard and it’s exciting to see all of that hard work pay off.

This year we were proud to come home with the Grand Champion Roaster Rabbit! 🐰Congrats to Ellianah Kuehnlein and all of the other 4H competitors. Keep up the good work!

Plus, it’s always nice to see Trinity Lutheran’s finest, Donita Vito!

A day at the fair 😎

Yes, the food packed on 10 pounds.
Yes, it was ridiculously hot.
Yes, we spent money playing games no one can win.
Yes, we still had a ton of fun.

But, my favorite part was talking to people about the election. Since this is a nonpartisan race, not many people are educated on the candidates or even aware this position will be on the November ballot. So many people said they “were happy to hear about one of the candidates because they usually just guess or simply don’t vote for the nonpartisan races.”

Every seat on the ballot is important in its own way. We have three more months to educate people on THIS race. If you feel so inclined, please share with those in your circle. Every vote matters!

The Monroe County Fair parade really knows how to challenge you! Last year it was 100 degrees of bright sunshine ☀️. This year, rain 🌧️.

Fortunately, we’re all about rising to the challenge and had some fun along the way. Thank you to all of our volunteers who braved the elements to walk with us - as well as the spectators who came out for the show.

Our final parade of the season ended with some priceless memories 🤩
