Thank you Corrections Officers for all you do 👮‍♀️👏👮

This week, we proudly recognize Correctional Officers Week.

The men and women of the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office Corrections Division work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the safety and security of our community. Their role goes far beyond supervision, they maintain order, provide support, and handle difficult situations with professionalism, strength, and dedication every single day.

Correctional Officers often face challenges that go unseen, yet they remain committed to upholding the law and treating others with respect and integrity.

Sometimes, a simple positive interaction can have a lasting impact on an incarcerated person’s future. A kind word, a moment of respect, or treating someone with dignity can remind them that they’re still human and capable of change. Those moments can stick long after their time is served, influencing the choices they make and the path they take moving forward.

Please join us in thanking these individuals for their service and sacrifice. Your hard work does not go unnoticed, and we are grateful for everything you do to keep our community safe.

Thank you, Correctional Officers, for your dedication and commitment.đź’™

It was a fun afternoon supporting the Child Advocacy Network (CAN) as they work to combat and prevent child abuse in our community.

Hudson was excited to get his first ever strike and Kennedy should have bought a lottery ticket with all of the raffle baskets she won. Wins all around!

Sports taught me so much growing up. Discipline. Perseverance. The value of hard work. It also gave me some of the greatest friendships I have ever known.

That's why it was such an honor to be a panelist at the YMCA Girls in Sports Expo. Planting the seed early and encouraging young girls to get out and get active! Thank you to the YMCA for promoting such a fun, inspiring, and collaborative event!

Friday afternoon was spent in Lansing submitting our petitions and officially getting Lauren’s name on the ballot.

This moment belongs to the dozens of volunteers who stepped up to make it all happen. Because of you, we were able to submit just shy of 1000 signatures 🙌🏻🙌🏻.
Thank you doesn’t seem like enough for all of your hard work but if you circulated a petition sheet…THANK YOU!

Now, it’s time to go win! 🇺🇸

Thank you to the Women’s Republican Club for giving Lauren an opportunity to speak and share more about herself and judicial philosophy. It was great night connecting with voters and hearing their thoughts on our upcoming judicial election.

As always, if you have a group or event you’d like Lauren to attend, please don’t hesitate to reach out. She’d love to meet as many people as possible!

Family. Community. Service.

April is ! We are proud to recognize the incredible volunteers who help strengthen our community every day.

Lauren Beaudry serves as a YMCA board member, while Matt Beaudry gives his time coaching youth basketball and T-ball. Together, they represent the heart of what makes the Y so special. They value the YMCA as more than just a swim and gym, but a close knit community that feels like family and creates a lasting impact far beyond its walls. Through coaching, they’ve seen firsthand how the Y helps youth grow in confidence and develop a love for sports.

Thank you for all you do, Lauren and Matt. We are .
