The Monroeville Public Library is a rural library serving the community of Monroeville, Ohio, the Monroeville School District, and surrounding areas. Our mission is to provide our patrons access to quality materials and services for their educational, informational, cultural, and recreational needs in an atmosphere that is always welcoming, respectful, and professional. As summer winds down, school gets back into full swing, and cooler days are on the way, we’re taking a short break from regular programming during September!

Don’t worry... we aren’t going anywhere! 📚 Stop in for a good book, browse the shelves, use the library, or just relax for a while.

Behind the scenes, we’ll be busy planning all kinds of fun for fall and winter, including Storytimes, Homework Helpers, Adult Crafts, our Annual Village Christmas, and so much more! 🎃🍁🎄

This week, we’re featuring Cheyann’s pick! 💜

“When Bryn’s ear went quiet, the world suddenly felt unfamiliar. Facing that uncertainty took real bravery, but Bryn found comfort and support along the way.

As a CODA (Child of Deaf Adult), I especially appreciate seeing books that explore deafness and the experiences of Deaf people. This story is a beautiful reminder that with courage, understanding, and the support of those around us, even scary and unfamiliar moments can become challenges we learn to face and overcome.” — Cheyann
