Congratulations to Camarion Cunningham on an outstanding baseball career at Monroe County! ⚾ ⚾ ⚾ ⚾

Over the past three years, Camarion has been a key part of our program, starting his career at third base before becoming the starting catcher, a pitcher when called upon, and a leader both on and off the field. As the team's only senior this season, he led by example and earned MVP honors on both offense and defense. He also hit one of the longest home runs Monroe County has seen in the past nine years!

Camarion has been a joy to coach, and his leadership, dedication, and competitive spirit will be greatly missed. We are proud of all he has accomplished and wish him continued success in the future!

We know what you're thinking...

"Didn't we just get out of school?"

Yes. Yes, we did.

But while everyone else is enjoying summer break, we're already counting instructional minutes, scheduling holidays, and reminding everyone that August is closer than we'd like to admit.

The official 2026–2027 Monroe County High School calendar is now available! Take a look so you can start planning vacations, doctor's appointments, and mentally preparing for those alarm clocks to make their annual comeback.
