Dropped by Yellow Springs ES yesterday where they were celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the school. In a few months, they'll move into their new building down the street, and Carroll Creek Montessori will move in. Very excited for both school communities. Toured the school and found some old yearbooks in the cafeteria. One of my former principals was at YSES for a while - Pete Storm. Another former principal, Kathy Prichard, was at the ceremony, as was current principal, Hannah Feldman. I heard a number of reunions occurring throughout the school.

What a fantastic event! The crew worked like a well-oiled machine by setting up alternating sides to keep the ceremony moving. Congratulations to all the hard-working students who have secured careers as they exit high school!

A farewell to the heart and soul of the CTC, Mr. Concepcion managed to get Ms. Karla Eshelman up on stage to honor her 45 years with FCPS. Anyone who has visited the CTC knows how warm and welcoming Ms. Edelman is. She will be missed!

One of my favorite areas at CTC - TAM. We also learned that all of the Cosmetology II students passed their tests and are officially cosmetologists!

They alternate sides of the stage for photos, and my angle isn't as good on the one side. So, I take a picture when I can see more students.
