Happy National Dog Day! 🐾 Meet Charlie, a sweet senior pup who loves to give back to the community.

Charlie joins his owner Chris to deliver meals to homebound seniors, bringing extra smiles and tail wags along the way. He may be older, but his heart is as big as ever.

🐾 Help Us Give Skid Row Pets a Better Life! 🐾

Sierra Auto Group is teaming up with the community to rescue, feed, and care for pets in need on Skid Row — and we need YOUR help to make it happen!

We’re collecting donations of pet food, supplies, and essentials all week long. Every bag of food and bit of care goes straight to animals who need it most. 🐶🐱

📍 Drop-off Location: Sierra Auto Group – Sales & Service Departments, 735 E Central Ave, Monrovia

🗓️ When: Monday – Sunday

On Saturday, October 24, 2026, the Volunteer Center of San Gabriel Valley will proudly host the 36th Annual Make a Difference Day in Monrovia.

For over three decades, Make a Difference Day has brought together businesses, civic groups, families, and volunteers to complete meaningful projects that improve the lives of our neighbors. From assisting seniors with home repairs and yard cleanups to beautifying parks and supporting local nonprofit organizations, this day reminds us of the incredible impact we can make when a community comes together.

This year's theme, "Volunteer Lifestyle," celebrates the idea that making a difference isn't just something we do once a year -it's a commitment to caring for our community every day.

We invite you to become a sponsor of this year's event. Your financial contribution or in-kind donation will help provide project materials, volunteer supplies, refreshments, and resources needed to complete dozens of community service projects throughout Monrovia. Every sponsorship directly impacts local residents and helps make this annual tradition possible.
