Proud to have been a part of the Wildcat Salute last night at Montague High School!

Our own Ryan Rought received the Hometown Hero award for exemplary police work, on and off duty. We are blessed to have him as a part of our department.

Join us tomorrow as the Wildcat Salute honors local first responders, law enforcement, and active and retired military.

There will also be several special awards given to community members and a special remembrance of the 25th anniversary of 9/11.

We hope to see you there! Stop and say hello!

Our sincere thoughts and prayers are with Muskegon Central Dispatch today as they mourn the loss of one of their own. Please keep them in your thoughts as they navigate the next few days and weeks.

The PD has several free items outside of the department. They will remain through the weekend.

First come, first served! Take what you like and please be mindful of the police and other vehicles when entering and exiting the lot.

A reminder that the department is completing the move tomorrow to be temporarily relocated to the city council room. Please look for signage to find us for the next few weeks!

There may be a brief downtime for phones tomorrow. Always call 911 in an emergency!

HEADS UP! 🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨

The police department will soon be getting a much-needed remodel!

Next week, the week of August 17th, we will be relocating to the Council chamber room, which is located on the same floor as the PD (the room where voting takes place!). The entrance will be well-marked.

PLEASE BE PATIENT as we navigate moving, desks, computers, phones, internet lines, files, etc.

(As always, call 911 in case of emergency!)
