A heartfelt thank you to all of you who supported my campaign. It was a good race. I have more than I came with in April 2023. As a descendant of Pioneers in Siskiyou County I have attained much added knowledge about our rural cities and government. The new relationships I have obtained are priceless.

It was a great night Saturday at the Cattlemen’s Dinner. Many awards were given, including Cattlemen of the Year, Red Emerson and Pete Scala. Lori March Valo was awarded Cattlewomen of the year. Recognition was given to Melanie Fowle and Carolee Scala for years of dedication to the youth through 4-H.

What a fun evening at the Montague Trunk or Treat! A lot of families, community support, smiles and candy.

I captured this picture in October after the railroad track repairs finished. This train was transporting plywood North. As a child we would sit waiting for the train to pass, counting the railroad cars at the crossing. History is known to repeat itself. In this case it is time for the tracks to be in tack.
