There’s nothing like families cooking together! Which is why we’re inviting children and their families to take up the Juneteenth Cookbook Family Challenge from June 1-30. Alliah L. Agostini & The Quarto Group Books have graciously granted permission to share recipes from The Juneteenth Cookbook. Kids, families, are invited to cook up any or all of the recipe items in celebration of Juneteenth. Just click the recipe links (available at the registration link for Alliah Agostini's June 7 author visit) or ask for printed recipes at the Main Library's Children's Department or Bellevue Avenue Branch. Get cooking, and have your grownups share your creation on social media. Be sure to tag and to join our virtual cookout!
