Registration opens August 13 for our next Montebello Outdoor Adventure! Join us for a relaxing day at Malibu Lagoon State Beach on Saturday, August 22, 2026. ☀️🏖️

Discover one of Southern California's most scenic coastal destinations, where Malibu Creek meets the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy a leisurely walk along the beach, take in breathtaking ocean views, and explore the peaceful lagoon while keeping an eye out for local birds and other wildlife. Whether you're looking to unwind, connect with nature, or spend quality time with family and friends, this is the perfect outdoor getaway! 🌊🐦🌾

🕘 Time: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

🎶✨ As the curtain closes on another incredible season of Concerts at the Park, we want to send a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who spent their Wednesday nights with us over the past six weeks. From the opening song to the final encore, you made this summer one to remember. 👏 👏 👏 👏

It’s that time of year again! The Montebello Police Department is excited to host our annual Back to School Giveaway and help our local students start the new school year prepared and ready to succeed.

Join us this Saturday, August 15, at our Police Community Resource Center from 10am-12pm for free backpacks and school supplies for Montebello Unified School District students.

Backpacks and school supplies will be distributed on a first come, first served basis while supplies last. Students must be present to receive their items.

We look forward to welcoming our students and families and continuing this annual tradition of supporting our community as we head into another great school year!

🚧 Traffic Notice: Construction on Montebello Blvd 🚧

📢 Attention Montebello residents & drivers! San Gabriel Valley Water Company will be conducting construction work along Montebello Blvd, from Monarch Street to just past the Tesla facility, beginning Tuesday, August 11, through Friday, August 14.

🗓 Work Dates: August 11–14, 2026
⏰ Work Hours: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

🚦 What to Expect:
• Work will take place on the westbound lanes of Montebello Blvd.
• Westbound traffic will be reduced to one lane through the construction zone.
• Temporary traffic delays are expected during work hours.

Please plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and use caution when traveling through the area. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as these infrastructure improvements are completed safely. 💙
