Strength and resilience comes in many forms.

The FNMOC team traded uniforms and business attire for denim to observe Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month (SAAPM) 2026 👖. We are united in our dedication to maintaining a safe workplace for all, and to end sexual assault, abuse, and harassment.

Last month, FNMOC hosted Capt. Martin Grossklaus and his delegation from the German Navy Geospatial Meteorology and Oceanography Command.

The delegation first visited Naval Oceanography headquarters in January, where Rear Adm. Acosta stated the critical importance of partnership and knowledge exchange between the commands. Capt. Grossklaus and his associates then traveled to Monterey for productive discussions with FNMOC, U.S. Naval Research Laboratory - NRL, and Naval Postgraduate School leadership.

These meetings highlighted the importance of key partnerships and allies for the success of worldwide Naval operations. 🌊🛰️

FNMOC Festivities Abound! 🎄❄️🌟

Last week, FNMOC-MRY celebrated our annual Holiday Party - a fine affair at the Bayonet and Blackhorse Golf Club.

Meanwhile, FNMOC-SSC took their creativity to the next level during the NAVO Door Decorating contest, bringing home bragging rights and the bronze as they absolutely destroyed it across the entire building.🎖️ This is not a small building, ladies and gentlemen.

FNMOKtober Fest '25 was an absolute hit!

Fleet Numericans gathered on a sunny Monterey afternoon last month at a local park to enjoy homemade brews, freshly prepared snacks, and comraderie.

We welcomed our newest member of the team, ENS Jordan Vena, and wished farewell to CDR Colin Thornton as he moves on to his next endeavor in the Navy.
