Here’s the deal: if a homeowner points at your car, we’ll tow it. Doesn’t matter if they could still back a school bus out of the driveway—we don’t care. Sometimes we just think you’ve been parked too long. That’s enough. We respect our residents.

And here’s the best part: you don’t get to argue. You have to pay it. Monterey PD signs off on the tow, CHP approved the rates, and the yard’s meter starts running the second your tires leave the ground. Try to appeal it, get a lawyer. We know you can't deal with all of that.

So go ahead—try to fight it. Good luck getting your $1,000 back. ❤️ Park better.

We got another one today!

This one had a plate from Florida. 🌴🙏

The driver of this vehicle decided to encroach on a citizens driveway by 10 whole inches! The residents were still able to use the driveway just fine but that is not the point of laws. Discomfort was caused and distress was incurred. The owner of the vehicle didn't pick up the phone after we were contacted by a resident. Big mistake. Rules are rules and must be applied without exception.

It doesn't matter if you are on military leave or just neglectful. You will be held accountable.

The fine gentlemen from the towing company said this one will cost the driver at least 700 dollars if they don't hurry. 😂 After 24 hrs pass they charge for two days of holding the vehicle and since we're 20 minutes from the yard and he took his time they will charge this ne'erdowell for a 2 hour tow. 👨‍⚖️ They're allowed to hit them with a $137.50 charge if they try to show after 5pm, too. Just for going to open the gate and watching the driver get their OWN vehicle. 😏 If they don't realize their car is towed we could hit a $2000.00 charge in a a few days easy. 😉

Crime doesn't pay, Monterey. Neither does a simple infraction.
