(Apr 5th @ 735PM) Our 2nd severe weather risk this week comes tomorrow afternoon/evening. This is a conditional risk in that just how much convection develops ahead of the cold front is still questionable. Check back tomorrow morning as changes to timing/threat levels may be needed.

Remain weather alert as these storms pass thru

At approximately 3:15 pm station 18 was dispatched to the 12000 block of Co Rd 73 for a woods fire. Tanker 18 responded with 2 personnel. Station 19 was dispatched for a grass truck. Open arrival Tanker 18 reported approximately 2.5 woods fire with structures in danger. The fire was extinguished and all units are clear of the area. This goes to show how quick a fire can get out of control on days like this. Departments all around the county are working brush fires due to the winds. Please keep an eye on the fire if you have to burn. Thank you to all units who responded.
