This year’s featured engine line is the Associated Engine Line! The Associated Manufacturers Company produced reliable hit and miss engines during the early 1900s, helping power farms, workshops, and rural America before electricity became widely available. Built in Waterloo, Iowa, these engines were known for their simplicity, durability, and dependable performance. Farmers used Associated engines to operate pumps, washing machines, feed grinders, cream separators, and other important equipment. Today, these antique engines are admired for their distinctive sound, mechanical ingenuity, and the important role they played in agricultural history.

You’ll find a variety of historic engines displayed all across Heritage Hill Days — in the Power House Building, the Phillips Building, and speckled throughout the show grounds. Don’t miss the chance to see live demonstrations and experience these fascinating pieces of agricultural history in action June 19th & 20th!

We are excited to welcome Pat Lubeck to Heritage Days!!

Pat will be setting up in the Chippewa Building on June 19th *only*!

She writes true accounts of dark secrets from Minnesota’s
past. She attended the University of California, Santa Barbara where she earned her BA degree. Lubeck spent several years in California, then returned to Minnesota where she was employed as director of two county museums and retired in 2018. She enjoys visiting museums, historic sites, and national parks. "Crime in Chippewa County, Minnesota" is her eighth book. “Pirate Adventures on the High Seas” marks her nineth book. Patricia peruses old newspapers, and other archives searching for stories that were once long forgotten. She brings the stories back to life for future generations to enjoy, and for all of us to get a glimpse into Minnesota’s rich past!

Her books are available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Outskirts Press, her publisher.

Venture down and check out her books and bookmarks June 19th from 9am-2pm!
