MES Classroom Spotlight: Mrs. Knoops 3rd Grade Class

It has been a busy, but fun week in Mrs. Knoop's third grade. In math, students began learning multiplication by using counters to make arrays. We celebrated Grinch Day by creating Grinch self-portraits, drinking green Grinch juice and eating Grinch cereal. We also finished up our Ancient Rome unit in reading by performing a Reader's Theater of Androcles and the Lion.

🚧WARNING: REINDEER CROSSING!🚧
This morning, Mrs. Blom’s second grade class got a very special surprise before the bell even rang! They were visited by a very confused “grandma” with messy hair, broken glasses, and covered with reindeer hoof prints. 😳❄️ She claimed the reindeer that ran her over are loose and she was hot on their trail! There was lots of pointing, giggling, and serious reindeer-detective work happening. 🎄😂 If you see flying hooves… proceed with caution! 🦌✨
