Four days until the Iowa High School Musical Theater Awards! There are 7 students representing Montezuma in the show. Tickets sold out in 10 minutes this year, but you can still watch the live stream Thursday night!

Earlier this week, Sra. Stockman took her senior Spanish students to Des Moines for a " taste of the countries" where they sampled chilaquiles, empanadas, aguas frescas, pupusas, pastelitos, & empanadas de platano.

Felicidades, estudiantes! These seniors have earned their Seal of Biliteracy. Students are given a rigorous test covering reading, speaking, listening, and writing in Spanish. To earn the Iowa Seal of Biliteracy, students must score 5 or higher in all sections. To earn the Montezuma Seal of Biliteracy, students must have an averaged score of 5 or higher in all sections and have been in Spanish for all 4 years of high school.
