What a wonderful night, Castle Rock Event Center did a great job as always. The food and staff was great. Having such great support from everyone that attended and we were able to talk with so many of you, we always try to great you all. This event helps us purchase needed equipment so when the calls come in we are ready to help and protect.

All of our department members were doing everything possible in making your evening fun and enjoyable. I hope we did accomplish this task.

Now on a personal note I received a huge surprise that I never seen coming. We had two of our ticket holders that I guess was bidding on a pedal fire truck and at the end I thought I should’ve bid on that but I didn’t. After it sold our wonderful auctioneer from Point Auction Service made an announcement that the winning bidders were Burdell Cathman & Larry Bomkamp. The bidders at that time had auctioneer announce that they wanted the truck to go to Doug Bartow. Thank you Burdell & Larry this only proves how great people are in our communities.

Lastly Chief Ryan Pilling and myself want to thank our members and families for all they do to make this event possible.

We want to thank everyone for all the support that you gave us at the pancake breakfast and the night with Santa. Your support to our department is a great honor and no words can express our gratitude and appreciation. We are here 24/7 to assist you and your families and we promise to be there when needed. The soggy bottoms food we served was once again a huge success the cookies provided by many families were delicious. Thank you Soggy Bottom-for the great evening food. A special thanks to Montfort EMS for your help in the evening. It was great to have Montfort EMS partner with us for the breakfast, it is great to work with you all.

Also to our citizens that stepped in, Maykala Pilling, Dan & Ann Adams, Jack Nowak, G-Pro (Dustin Bollant) Norge Nelson Kathy Straka , Sherry Batton Pilling Electric, Fennimore Fire Department, Friendly Place, Jason ( Village of Montfort) and all of our spouses for all you do for us.

Due to the extreme cold this weekend The Montfort Fire Department will be canceling the parade Saturday evening. HOWEVER THE INDOOR EVENTS WHICH INCLUDES THE PANCAKE BREAKFAST SATURDAY MORNING THE KIDS GAMES, SOGGY BOTTOMS FOOD STAND WILL TAKE PLACE FROM 4:00 to 6:30 at the fire station. OH YES AND SANTA CALLED AND SAID IN WILL BE AT THE FIRE STATION FROM 4:30 to 6:30 to greet all the children and have a BAG OF TREATS FOR THEM.

WE CANNOT WAIT TO SEE Y’ALL
