The partnership we shared with Chief Beasley was something truly special.

He had a laid-back, caring personality and a sense of humor that made every interaction feel genuine. More than anything, he made it feel like family. He never forgot about the people behind the radio. He understood that dispatch isn’t always able to step away, even for something as simple as running out for a fountain soda.

Because of that, he would routinely stop by with drinks or a snack, just to make sure our team was taken care of. He never stayed long, but he always made an impact. It was common to hear him say, “You know I love my peps,” as he came through the door.

He always had that big smile and a one-of-a-kind laugh that you couldn’t miss. And for those of us who worked the radio with him, the way he would go on duty is something we’ll never forget. “3fiddy1111… 10-41.” That’s etched in our minds forever.

Chief Beasley will be deeply missed, but he will never be forgotten.

Today our team at Montgomery County Joint Communications is truly feeling the support from our community and partners.

The County Clerk’s Office surprised us with Domino’s pizza, and Omnigo Public Safety Software sent over cookies for the team.

We are grateful for the continued support and proud to serve this community.

Today marks the beginning of National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week.

Behind every call for help is a trained professional who answers without hesitation. In a rural community where resources are often spread out, our telecommunicators play a critical role in ensuring the right help is sent quickly and efficiently.

We are proud of the professionals who serve behind the headset.

🎄 Christmas Eve Gratitude 🎄

On this Christmas Eve, we want to take a moment to share a small act of kindness that meant a great deal to our team. One of our Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office deputies, Jason Maskey, surprised our 911 Center with an incredibly thoughtful gift. Our old Christmas tree had become a little worn and sparse over the years, and without being asked, he took it upon himself to order a brand-new tree and even helped set it up.

Gestures like this remind us what this season is truly about- generosity, community, and the strong partnerships we are blessed to share with our first responder family.

Thank you to Deputy Maskey and to the entire Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office for always standing beside us. We are grateful for the relationships we have with our partnering agencies and for the people who make Montgomery County such a special place to serve.

From all of us at Montgomery County Joint Communications,
Merry Christmas and a blessed Christmas Eve. 🎄✨
