On Saturday, the new 988 number for su***de and mental health crisis support rolls out nationwide in the United States. Priority Dispatch applauds the effort to make this new number a reality. We've been a proponent of alternative response for decades, and we're readying our systems to support local agencies.

Here's SOME of what you can expect to see:
- We're updating Protocol 25 to better address su***de and mental health incidents.
- We're completing a Caller in Crisis Protocol that includes pathways for SU***DE IDEATION and SU***DE THREAT, with Determinant Codes that allow local agencies to tailor your response.
- We're providing a 4-hour self-paced training course on the College of Emergency Dispatch through the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch - IAED.
- We're partnering with Jim Marshall and 911 Training Institute to integrate their 3-day Emergency Mental Health Dispatch (EMDH) Course, teaching how to navigate the various mental states that may be encountered during a call.

Update on Lane Restrictions on Interstate 70 at High Hill in Montgomery County
East and Westbound at mm 180 will be one lane tomorrow morning

HANNIBAL, MO – Tomorrow, Wednesday, July 6, at 6 a.m., weather permitting, the Missouri Department of Transportation’s contractor again will close a lane in each direction on Interstate 70 at High Hill, mile marker 180, to continue work on the overpass that was hit by a tractor-trailer on June 23. Crews will work with daily morning lane closures for the next two weeks to complete the repairs. The lanes on I-70 are restricted to 10 feet wide. All ramps at Route F/High Hill interchange are open, but the overpass/bridge remains closed to traffic.
Weather permitting, here is the anticipated daily lane closure schedule. Dates may extend due to weather delays:
• Wednesday, July 6 through Saturday, July 9, one lane closed in each direction on I-70
from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. daily
• Monday, July 11 through Wednesday, July 13, one lane closed eastbound on I-70
from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. daily
Crews will be working in the median each day after both lanes of I-70 reopen at 11 a.m. Motorists are advised to slow down and watch for construction work in the area. Due to the volume of traffic on I-70, drivers are encouraged to consider alternate routes during the morning hours when one lane is closed.
Route F will reopen after the new column/concrete has time to strengthen, probably within 5 days.
On the evening of Thursday, June 23, a tractor-trailer crashed and hit the center bridge column for the Route F bridge over I-70 at High Hill. By Saturday, June 25, MoDOT secured an emergency contractor to support the bridge and prepare for the emergency repairs.
Motorists can check traffic conditions by visiting MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map at www.traveler.modot.org and find the most updated travel information, traffic conditions, and work zone locations.
