Cities across the country are healing from the COVID pandemic, and forced to make difficult budgetary trade offs in providing services for its people. But as a result of Mayor Steven L. Reed's leadership, we are proud to declare that Montgomery is booming.

The City of Montgomery, Alabama recently approved an expanded $370 million dollar budget that raised the wages of city workers and fostered a new sense of economic entrepreneurship across Montgomery. This comes at a time when Montgomery will soon receive an additional $85 million budget boost from COVID federal aid funding.

Additionally, Amazon just announced that it will build a $100 million dollar facility in Montgomery. This investment will provide our community with 500 new jobs and signals a confidence in the future of Montgomery's economy.

Mayor Reed is writing the national playbook on how strong leadership can help cities rebound from better than when the pandemic first began. This means working with citizens and business interests to ensure that Montgomery's economy continues to improve for everyone. To help accomplish this, Mayor Reed will be creating a new online portal for constituents to leave feedback and is planning additional town halls to discuss upcoming community projects.

Mission PAC believes that communities across Alabama and the South deserve this type of common sense constituent focused leadership, and your engagement is crucial to our growth.

Thanks for being a part of the Mission.
