The Garrett Elementary Back to School Open House is tomorrow night from 5:30-7. You will be able to meet all the specialists, hear from your child’s teacher, meet the school administrators, and enjoy some delicious food from our food trucks out front!

Make sure you join us for our Back 2 School Bash on 8/5 from 3-8 pm at the Riverfront Amphitheater! We'll have food, games, rides, prizes, learning stations, school supplies, and uniform giveaways for MPS students! This event is free and sponsored by our education partners, Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama and the City of Montgomery, Alabama Government.

We are back with more Summer Announcements!

If you have a student that is returning to Garrett and you have not updated their information online please do so. If you have any questions or concerns email [email protected].

Meet and Greet is set for August 9th, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

If your proofs of residence have not been updated they need to be updated before August 3rd. Students will not be assigned a teacher for the 2023-2024 school year until this is completed.

The Garrett Work Day is set for July 29th from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and we need volunteers to help in our various campus beautification projects around the school.

It’s time to WORK!

We will be working from 8:30-11:30 on various campus beautification projects and are looking for volunteers to help us get our school ready for the first day of school! So, if you have a pressure washer, gardening and lawn tools, or painting supplies then we need YOU!
