Just a reminder this starts today!

The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) will replace the culvert carrying NYS Route 17K over the stream between Union School Road and Old Route 17K in the Town of Montgomery/Town of Crawford NY requiring this stretch of 17K to be closed with a posted detour. During the course of the replacement, travel across the work area will not be possible. This culvert replacement is scheduled to start Monday, June 1, 2026 at 9am and is expected to be finished in about 2 months.
